For Teachers: Using FCLE Practice in Class
FCLE Practice is free to use with your students. It needs no accounts, sign-ups, or student data. Every lesson, quiz, and exam has a direct link you can post to Google Classroom, Canvas, or any LMS, or share by email.
Classroom ideas
- Bell-ringer: project a 5-question warm-up with instant feedback and discuss each explanation.
- Lesson + exit ticket: assign a chapter, then its 10-question topic quiz. Students share their score screen back to you with the Share button (email or Google Classroom).
- Unit check: assign a milestone practice test. Students see real-time feedback and links to reteach themselves.
- Test-day rehearsal: have the whole class take Realistic Exam 1. With the same seed, everyone gets the same 80 questions in the same order. Students can submit a screenshot or share their results.
- Paper practice: print a worksheet for any topic. The answer key prints on a separate page, or you can leave it off.
- Self-paced: send students to the learning path. Progress saves in each student's browser, so ask them to use the same device or share a result screen as proof.
Scores are not collected or sent anywhere, so there is no gradebook. For a grade, have students share or screenshot their results page, which shows the score, time, and quiz name.

Build your own quiz link
Every quiz link takes simple parameters. Add seed= with any number to fix the question set, so the same link gives every student the same questions in the same order. Without a seed, each visit picks new questions and writes the seed into the address bar.
| Link | What it does |
|---|---|
/quiz.html?mode=topic&ch=6&seed=123 | 10-question topic quiz on chapter 6, with feedback (add &n=15 for more questions) |
/quiz.html?ch=6&n=25&seed=123 | 25 questions from chapter 6 (instant feedback can be toggled) |
/quiz.html?comp=2&n=30&seed=123 | 30 questions from competency 2 |
/quiz.html?mode=practice&m=2&seed=123 | Milestone practice test 2 (chapters 1–9, real-time feedback) |
/quiz.html?mode=exam&seed=123&time=50 | Realistic 80-question exam with a 50-minute limit (time=0 is untimed; the default is 160) |
/quiz.html?mode=quick&n=10&seed=123 | 10 random questions from the whole bank |
/quiz.html?case=marbury-v-madison | All questions on one landmark case |
/print.html?ch=6&n=20&seed=123 | Printable worksheet with the answer key on a separate page (&key=0 leaves off the key). Also comp=, m=, or exam=. |
Printing
Lessons, topic banks, and worksheets all have a print stylesheet that removes the menus, ads, and buttons. On a worksheet, the answer key always starts on a new page, so you can print only the student pages.
