Full-Length FCLE Practice Exam (with Instant Answers)
A practice exam that is as long and as timed as the real thing: 80 multiple-choice questions, 20 from each competency, and a 160-minute countdown. The difference is that you see whether you are right as soon as you click an answer.
Set aside up to 2 hr 40 min (the full 160-minute limit) · plus a few minutes to review your missed questions
Each start gives you a fresh random set of 80 questions from all 2,000 in the bank. The set number is added to the address bar, so you can share or retake the exact same exam.
How it works
- Answers right away: when you click a choice, it turns green if correct or red if not, the correct answer is highlighted, and a short explanation appears with a Review this topic link.
- Answers lock once chosen, so your score counts your first answer, the way a real test does.
- Running score: the top bar shows how you are doing (for example, 42/50 correct so far) next to the countdown timer.
- Same rules as the real FCLE: 80 questions, 20 per competency, 160 minutes, and 60% (48 correct) to pass. You can move between questions and flag them with the question navigator.
- At the end (or when time runs out) you get the full results screen: pass or not-yet, a breakdown by competency, topics to review, a review of every missed question, and options to share, print, or save your results.
Practice exam vs. realistic exam
| Practice exam (this page) | Realistic exam | |
|---|---|---|
| Questions and time | 80 questions, 160 minutes | 80 questions, 160 minutes |
| When you see answers | Right after each click | Only after you submit |
| Change an answer | No, it locks | Yes, until you submit |
| Best for | Learning while building test-day stamina | A true test-day rehearsal |
A good plan: take a practice exam with instant answers first, review what you missed, then take a realistic exam to check that you are ready.
